Yoga is a system of exercises and other methods first appeared 5.000 years ago. The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit root "Yug" which means Union.

The purpose of the method is exactly the union of physical, energetic, intellectual, mental and spiritual existence of human and the understanding of unity that governs our world and the universe. Often the search for and engagement with yoga is followed by the need for change that everyone wants for himself and marks a journey inside our consciousness, profound self awareness and understanding of the cosmic principles.

Apart from all this is a technical and practical experience that restores everyone who uses it, health, welfare, harmony and integration.

Yoga today is winning trainees. The reason is that as a method is adapted to the needs of modern humans. There are different types of yoga according to the requirements and capabilities of trainees.

There is Hatha, which consists of simple strengthening and flexibility exercises for those involved for the first time.

The Vinyasa yoga is for someone who wants more strength and empowerment, because now they have been taught the proper technique with Hatha and have obtained a contact and some basic flexibility.

And finally, there is Power Yoga for those who train years and are trying really hard Asanas, which require strength, balance, concentration and flexibility. These forms of yoga are the most known and widespread in the western world but there are other schools of Yoga also, that will not be mentioned here.

The purpose

Why Yoga?

The purpose of this method is not only physical, that is improving the physical capabilities and the external image of the person who exercises, but also influences other skills of a person.

Also through the breaths of relaxation we succeed to eliminate stress and to control thoughts and feelings which results in self-control.

At the same time during physical exercises attention is directed internally to better contact and awareness of our body, keeping the attention and concentration in parts of the body that works which each exercise.

The ultimate goal after years of exercising is the knowledge of each part of the body and breath, to follow the awareness of ourselves, control thoughts, control emotions and detach from situations and emotions that have been negative impact on our lives.
